The benefits of training at altitude are unequivocal; sitting at 1500m our sessions involve: hikes and trail runs up to 2600m, HIIT sessions, daily yoga, paddle boarding, boxing, strength and conditioning sessions and functional fitness through the forest.

The Experience

Accommodation

Located in the heart of Verbier, with fast, easy connections from Geneva airport, our hand-picked chalets have an alpine chic style to them, with open plan, spacious designs they are perfect for relaxing in. Each bedroom is designed with comfort in mind and we offer twin, double or single occupancy.

Return from a day in the elements and chill out on one of the south facing terraces, soak tired legs in the hot tub, escape to the steam room or book a massage away from it all. Each room has been designed with alpine chic style. The large open plan communal areas provide room for relaxing and you can watch the sunset over the distant peaks as you unwind after a long day. Both shared and single rooms are available with a choice of shared or en suite bath/shower rooms.

Location

The Swiss alps have some of the most dramatic scenery in Europe. Verbier boasts a unique mountain environment. In the winter it’s an off piste luxury ski haven, in the summer it has all the beauty and charm without the crowds.

It has the advantage of fantastic infrastructure, yet on the trails, you are alone and feel in another world. There are breathtaking views in every direction; gaze out over the snow capped peaks of Mont Blanc and the Grand Combin Glacier. Clean mountain air, a fantastic climate and exceptional training terrain create the ultimate environment for a fitness escape.

    I fully credit you both with my transformation; the retreat was the kick up the backside I needed! I now work out 3 times a week (I even get up in the morning before work… unheard of!) and, hilariously, Brian and I are honeymooning by hiking, SUP-ing and running a half-marathon in Vancouver.

We cater for all fitness levels and due to our small group sizes we are able to tailor workouts to a variety of levels. We offer a pre arrival, free consultation to discuss your current fitness level and goals. We can then modify the programme to ensure each of our client’s is working toward their own objectives.
The maximum we have in a group is 8 per trainer. However it is likely that we will split training levels on ability, for certain activities, and so it will be smaller than this.
Yes, our pre arrival assessment will allow us to ensure that each person and their objectives are taken into account and met. We will then hopefully inspire you to push these boundaries.
This does not matter. We work with people at an individual level and can tailor intensity/repetitions etc to ability.
All of our trainers have a level 3 REPS personal training qualification. Our yoga teachers have over 10 years experience. The chef has been cooking in ‘uber luxe’ Verbier chalets also for over 10 years. Overall what sets them apart is their attitude, they are always willing to go the extra mile to help clients. Ultimately each staff member lives and breathes our ethos of motivation, integrity and compassion… making your time here and every workout enjoyable!
The food is exceptional. Fresh, healthy, seasonal ingredients are compiled in a creative way to create light meals that will leave you satiated. We promote a balanced diet so do not ban any particular food group, but can obviously cater to allergies. We offer 3 meals a day, with 2 courses at dinner. You will not go hungry but everything you eat will be extremely nutritious and appetising.
We encourage our clients to listen to their bodies. In some cases we are able to tailor programmes to account for minor injuries but we do insist you fill out a personal medical form prior to arrival so we are aware and consult your doctor if unsure.
Yes, we have active recovery sessions and full recovery sessions. Each day there will be some time off to explore the town, have a massage, sunbathe or read a book. We encourage our clients to participate in all our activities as we have formatted them so they provide a balanced programme. However if you wish to duck out of certain sessions we do allow this (there's just a penalty of an extra 50 burpees the next day.. not! haha)
Running is not compulsory on our camps, although we do encourage everyone to give it a try. We can however offer a hiking group as an alternative.
We cannot accept smoking in our properties but we cannot ban it from our retreat. However we do not encourage it. Caffeinated drinks are available but we advise these to be drank mindfully and not in excess. We do not encourage or offer alcohol, as we would like the retreat to be an opportunity for you to take some time out from your daily routine and focus 100% on your health, fitness and wellbeing.
