This retreat again joins the 2 inspiring international yoga teachers – Filipa Veiga and Silvia Stojanovic. They will join their experience to make this retreat the most amazing adventure, both personally and emotionally, taking you into a deeper level of understanding the practice and its transformative essence.
Born in Portugal, Filipa grew up in Macau, Asia. As a the mother of two girls and after studying Law and having been a journalist, she fully dedicated herself to yoga after moving back to Asia and living in Ubud, Bali. Being an authorized by KPJAYI, her yoga practice started more than 14 years ago.
In addition to the Ashtanga Yoga method, she also studies meditation and Ayurveda at the Vedic Institute, which teaches not only the asana technique but also how to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Living between Bali and Portugal, the teacher dedicates her life to inspiring people and transforming lives through classes, workshops, yoga and Ayurveda retreats, and through her Yoga-me blog, a project that gave birth to her first book of success, which now enters the second edition. Presenter at the Bali Spirit Festival and ambassador of the Wanderlust Portugal since the 1st edition, she also brought to her birth country the Portugal Spirit Festival spreading her love around the yoga lifestyle.
Yoga mom, dedicated surfer and motivational speaker, Silvia is a conscious and constant creator of life-changing experiences. A certified Hatha Yoga Teacher at all times on the search for new yoga insights.
Silvia was born in Germany and raised between the 3 countries: Germany, Greece, and Serbia. She is a very devoted yoga practitioner and student of yoga for many years who believes that within each student lies a wellspring of love and potential, and it’s her job as a teacher to bring that up.
After completing her 3 years studies in Sports in Germany, Sílvia found yoga as her most important missing piece in life and felt the deep wish to share this ancient way of communicating. She started teaching the Hatha Yoga method in 2004. Silvia´s teachings are fundamentally rooted in authenticity, she is humbled and honored to teach what she has learned, therefore her classes focus on providing an experience that is physically, mentally, and emotionally transformative.
There will be an Asana lovers workshop focusing on anatomy and exploring the body as well as a Yoga-me workshop which includes and Ayureda talk: lear how to understand your dosha and how to adapt your lifestyle and constitution.
Soulshine Bali is the yoga, soul and rock and roll oasis from world famous singer Michael Franti and Carla Swanson. They created an independent retreat hotel focused on relaxed luxury and world class famous retreats. We feel honored to feature on our 3rd Bali Retreat together in this magic place and share with you this great experience.
Nestled between ancient rice terraces, temples and a lush jungle landscape, it is peacefully located 10 minutes away from Ubud center.
Each room features handcrafted furniture by local artisans mixed with antique pieces and modern decor. Comfort is important at Soulshine and they strive to be the place you call
your home away from home.
Soulshines kitchen serves farm to table freshness from the organic garden with a menu full of delicious vegan, vegetarian and local flavours.
As well as being a place of outstanding natural beauty, Bali is one of the most powerful and active sacred spots on the globe. The spiritual world here is more alive than almost anywhere else.
